Hello!
We are Wunderfax, a seven-person indie game studio founded in 2022 in Berlin.
Previously, we wrote and led the development of the 2021 critically acclaimed Say No! More at Studio Fizbin and are now making our first Wunderfax project – an unannounced slapstick horror game about being clumsy and stumbling a lot.
Our game combines humor and horror, turning clumsy chaos into laugh-out-loud moments in a spooky, atmospheric world. It’s built around a personal narrative with lovable characters that will steal your heart.
At Wunderfax, we believe in keeping creativity alive and the path from idea to implementation as short as possible. If someone shares a funny idea during a meeting, we love trying it out – as long as it fits our scope.
We work from all over Germany, with daily standups to stay connected and a lively Slack culture to keep things fun. Mental health comes first: everyone has the flexibility to take time off when needed, no questions asked. We value open communication, respect each other’s boundaries, and adapt to the team’s needs. To strengthen our connection, we also meet in Berlin for special occasions like the A MAZE. festival and our holiday party.
We’re in the midst of pre-production and are seeking a Level Designer to bring game mechanics and puzzles to life in engaging levels with a dash of humor.
